Linear Lens Arrays of NSG
For applications with line scan cameras often linear lenses are suitable, if no enlargement or reduction is needed during imaging.
| The SELFOC-LENS-ARRAYs of Nippon Sheet Glass, Japan, are linear arranged gradient lenses. Each lens forms an image of some square millimeters. Since this area is clearly larger than the aperture of the individual lenses, and these are lined up in closest packing, the images overlap themselves. |

Thereby a some millimeter broad linear image of the object in the focus is obtained. The total distance between object and image amounts to between 13mm and 74mm (depending upon the used SLA) which is clearly smaller as with conventional objectives. SLAs can be manufactured in almost any lengths. |

Normally we have different types of SLA lens arrays on stock, which can be cutted to the needed length. Please contact us in the case of interest for the current prices and delivery terms.
Due to the high interest we provide the type SLA-20B already cutted to a length, which is suitable for the use with many CMOS linear sensors.
